Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Isle of Lewis

This is a fabulous place, and once we found it, we enjoyed every minute. The staff is helpful and made us feel welcome. The rooms are large, and staying in a castle is pretty special. My only complaint is that the description of where the unit is located is very misleading. We were told the apartment is "ON the Lews Castle grounds", which are over 600 acres. For travelers like us, completely unfamiliar with the castle, that's very confusing, and an accurate description would be more helpful and enticing. The unit is IN Lews Castle. And it's great!

Die Unterkunft ist zwar etwas älter aber war genauso wie beschrieben. Preis Leistung im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften auf der Insel top! Das Schlafzimmer war etwas hellhörig zu den Übermietern. Mit der Waschmaschine/Trockner kamen wir nicht klar, kann aber an uns gelegen haben. Sonst alles perfekt! Super Lage um die Insel zu erkunden und nur wenige Meter vom Tesco und der Fähre. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Türe. Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Clean, cosy, comfortable, quiet, & well equipped with all the necessary basics. Very convenient for town centre too.

We stayed 4 nights during HebCelt. The apartment is in a perfect location with everything in walking distance. There is ample parking available and everything that you could possibly wish for in the apartment. Everything was extremely clear, WiFi was fast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

We had a fabulous time Canisp which was a perfect base for our 5 nights on Lewis and Harris. We are a family of five and felt right at home. Great location and beautifully appointed (to use estate agent speak😅). Would highly recommend. Sad to leave the island. Will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here, especially the beautiful loch views, quiet surroundings, outdoor seating and spacious rooms. The cottage was very clean, thoughtfully decorated, extremely comfortable and generously stocked with amenities. The host was kind, quick to respond and thorough in every way. Wish we could have stayed a little longer and would love to come back.

We had an amazing family trip during the Easter break 2025, stayed at Ian’s property Old Police House at Uig. Such a beautiful location, great view throughout the day.. stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time. There plenty of hikes and amazing things to do near the property. The Rha falls, Duntulm castle, Rubiha view point hike was also about 20mins from here by car. Ian was a kind and considerate host, was super responsive at all times.

I stayed with my daughter over May bank holiday weekend. We loved the place, it was comfy, clean and with amazing garden. Close to beaches and some nice hikes so plenty to do in the area. Can definitely recommend!

Fiona's house Is Amazing. High levels furniture, finishing and appliances. Professionally clean. It was out perfect base To Explore the Island. Hope To come back in the future To spend more time.

Great house in a quiet location. We were very comfortable and it was well equipped. A short walk to the supermarket and a nice walk to the centre of Stornoway. Perfect short stay, thank you!

Wir verbrachten zwei Übernachtungen bei Liz. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und ist sehr einfach zu erreichen, wenn man sich an die Beschreibung hält. Liz hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und ein paar Eier von den eigenen Hühnern bereit gestellt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Betten bequem. Die Lage ist optimal, um Lewis zu erkunden. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

We had a lovely stay at Donna’s place. The house was very clean, cosy, and beautifully located, with peaceful scenery and sheep surrounding the property. It was a truly relaxing getaway. Donna was a very responsive host and always quick to reply, which we really appreciated. One small suggestion would be clearer instructions for turning on the water pump, especially for using hot water outside the scheduled time. It took us a bit of time to figure it out in the morning, but Donna was very helpful once we reached out. The Wi-Fi signal could also be a bit stronger. Overall, it was a great experience and we would happily stay again. Thank you, Donna.

My wife and I stayed with Diana number 10 as part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We could not be more pleased that we stayed here. Diana is an incredibly welcoming and gracious host. The accommodations themselves were clean, organized, and spacious with a well stocked kitchen with all equipment you would need to cook. The location itself is incredible and access to the hide makes for a perfect place to enjoy a book in a quiet secluded place. This is a truly special place which I would highly recommend to others.

What an amazing place to come and stay! Not sure where to begin with the praise for this place. Hosts were amazing, everyone we met was outstanding and the landscape speaks for itself. We had some strong winds and rain during our stay and in some way that added to our experiences on this trip! 100% recommend.

We can’t express enough how amazing Fiona’s Airbnb is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Her beautiful personal touches, fresh flowers, chocolates, delicious coffee and snacks with a lovely welcoming on the chalk board inside was so lovely. We will return it was THAT GOOD

Even with chilly and inclement weather, Lewis is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful ancient sites and beaches. We had the pleasure of staying at Marie's place while on a van tour. It was very clean and we were able to use the washer for our clothes. A very comfortable bed and a nice shower. Marie was very communicative and I appreciated that. A nice snack basket was provided including some eggs and crumpets which were a breakfast lifesaver, and the nearby local co-op grocers was great. Felt very homey, and the fireplace was a great comfort. Overall would recommend staying here for a trip to Storonway!

I loved my stay at Scott’s place! The room was very clean and cozy, and I had access to all of the amenities I needed. The location in Stornoway was perfect, and Scott and his roommate were both great to meet. Check-in was super simple and Scott was easy to communicate with leading up to my stay, as well as when I arrived in Stornoway. Would highly recommend!

Amy's place was brilliant and Amy was always quick to reply to messages
