Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the place. The large garden and the great views of the bay of Heraklion were amazing. The house itself was a little smaller than expected, especially with two almost adult children. The surfaces of the kitchen could have been cleaner and the dishwasher was unfortunately broken. These were the only criticisms. Jannis took care of us touchingly and contacted us again and again. The house is fantastically located at the end of a dead end and Google does not know the way there, but the directions from Jannis and Evi are perfect. A small tip: a car is mandatory! All in all it was a great holiday.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view, the tranquility and in general the apartment was a dream to be in. I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Always happy to come back. Highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay Everything was as described They were great hosts the villa was modern, clean and everything was there we needed. A toaster and microwave could be added to the kitchen, but tk he honest what made our stay was ‘ rocky’ We miss him We loved him and the host was so wonderful like ‘ Rocky’ Thank you for having us stay and highly recommended and appreciate all you did for us X X

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, quiet little apartment. The location was ideal—just a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sea whenever I wanted. The apartment was cozy, perfect for a peaceful getaway, and had everything I needed. Penelope was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She offered fantastic local recommendations, from restaurants to hidden gems nearby, and were always responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. A sweet bonus was Sisi, the adorable resident cat! She made us feel even more at home with her cute personality. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and experience Crete like a local. Would definitely return!"

Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

Nikoleta is an incredibly kind person & a great communicator. The space, a short walk from Knossos Palace, is magical, comfortable and full of art. With the best stocked kitchen I have encountered in an Airbnb. Book it, you will be so pleased you did.

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!

Quiet private paradise a quick drive from sitia center. Well located, high in the mountain but was easy to drive up. super confortable bed and amazing breakfast for 9€ in the morning. i would stay here again anytime

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. Vacation away from tourism in the Cretan mountains. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the pool. In September, however, it is already much cooler on the mountain than on the coast. Since a car is absolutely necessary anyway, we were able to switch to the beaches on windy or cloudy days. Konstantinos gave us great tips on request and we were offered free cleaning 2x. Clear recommendation!

We had the most amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views that made every morning special. It was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this place apart, though, were the incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. From arranging convenient transportation from the airport in Heraklion to renting us their car—which was spotless and ideal for exploring Crete—everything was seamless and stress-free. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete. We can’t wait to come back!

Place looked exactly like the photos. Loved having an additional half bath room, on top of the full bathrooms in the bedrooms. The hosts were responsive to questions and assisted with providing additional bedding upon request in a quick timely manner. Very modern amenities with automatic blinds, stove tops, fridge, and smart Air conditioning system (which worked great). The kitchen in both the house and outside were well equipped with lots of utensils and cooking ware. The outside grill was perfect for when we made sausages and chicken, and we had plenty of tools for bbqing or cleaning the grill. The location is surrounded by many markets, shops, and bars. Loved the pool and hot tub. Just wish the hot tub could get a little hotter. Hottest temperature could get the tub to luke warm temperature. Our small group would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Alexandros's villa. Alexandros met us at Heraklion airport on arrival and showed us the way to the villa. The villa had everything we needed for our 10 day stay, set in a very quiet, relaxing location overlooking olive groves and vineyards. The local tavernas offer an amazing selection of good quality food and they are mostly run by families. You can really enjoy the famous Cretan hospitality. Alexandros was always on hand to assist with anything we needed including restaurant recommendations and questions about the local area. We are already planning our stay next year! A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

The house is great, first quality material, great view, and very comfortable. The host is great, always discreetly present for any need. The access to the house is very easy. The pool is really awesome. Great place!!!!!

Such a beautiful place, we felt we were in paradise. We took our own food so didn’t try the taverna but enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view every night and two nights we lay back a star gazed for hours on the deck chairs. Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

Nicely decorated, relatively close to the airport

It was my second time at Manolis’ place and I love it. It’s one of most magic places I know on this planet and Manoils and his parents are always very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and the apartment very cosy and bright. Especially in autumn I like this area and the balcony because it’s very calm and relaxed - you are very near the ocean. Like last time Manolis mum prepared some dinner for me and the fridge was full of food ❤️. Unfortunately there was some strong wind during my 4 weeks there and so I had some power outages and wifi / fon connection outages. Manolis did his very best and was very helpful to get it fixed as soon as possible.

It’s located in a super convenient spot which is nearby beach and restaurants. If you like sunshine,don’t miss this choice. Plus,the landlord is so kind and try the best to help visitors .
