A beautiful cottage just outside a beautiful village! Sarah’s place was charming, perfectly clean and just as we had hoped. Located on the most elegant working farm, the cottage is a short, pretty walk along a chalk stream from the village which has beautiful buildings, and excellent shopping and eating options. Views from the cottage were lovely, walks equally so. Sarah was responsive and friendly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

This is a beautiful apartment less than 10 minutes drive away from the centre of Winchester. The location is surrounded by stunning countryside with a lovely local pub a 10 minute walk away. The apartment itself is very nice, with a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. This is perfect for 2 or 4 people. You can walk into Winchester but it will take an hour, the drive is less than 10 mins or an uber is around £10.

We have just returned from our second stay at The Stables, and it was just as wonderful as the first. This is our absolute favourite place to stay; it has everything we could need in the most beautiful surroundings. Our children (3 & 8 years old) love the garden, vineyard and chickens to explore and the size of the lodge is very generous indeed, both inside and out. As well as being so comfortable and high quality in every way, the lodge is so practical also; it has a fully equipped kitchen where we were able to cook full meals for our family of four each night. The lodge is very close to Paultons Park and Marwell Zoo, both amazing days out that we have enjoyed both times. Thomas and his family are the most kind and welcoming hosts you could hope for, and really make your stay feel very special. We will certainly be back! Our children love it here and are always made to feel so comfortable and carefree, it is the most wonderful place to make childhood memories.

Jonathan’s Airbnb was fantastic, it being listed as an annex definitely does it a misjustice as the accommodation is a fully functioning home, which just happens to be annexed from their main property. The whole house was kitted out with everything you would need, especially for a young family; highchair, cot, plethora of toys, and all the eating and dinning utensils you would need. If I were to give any constructive feedback/advice to other visitors, it would be for families with waddling toddlers, to be wary of the stairs and step between the kitchen and main foyer. However, this is something that a couple of well positioned pillows can conquer. In summary, we would definitely stay again. :)
