Monthly Rentals in Ivana

We stayed here this weekend (March 7-9) and had a great experience. The room was clean, the staff was friendly (special thanks to Ate Jona and Kuya Dani), and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! I have no regrets about booking this place during our trip to Batanes. They also offered tours and we’re so satisfied 💯 (thank you Sir Nelson). I'll definitely book here again when we return and will highly recommend it to my friends and family!

Our stay exceeded expectations. The place was in a quiet street but very near the main road. There were small stores nearby for our needs. The rooms were big and comfortable. Each room had its own bathroom too, which we really appreciated. There was a balcony facing Mt.Iraya and we could watch the planes taking off and landing! Big plus for the kids! The common areas were also comfortable. We were able to bond as a family since we could hang out together unlike in hotels. Our hosts were so kind and helpful! Maam Agnes was always responsive whenever we had any questions or needed help. They picked us up from the airport and made us feel right at home. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Batanes.

Savatan homestay is a great place. It actually looked better in person. The room that they gave me is very spacious, and the bathroom is very clean. The location is walking distance to the plaza so I was able to experience eating at the bazarr and watch other activities during the night. Kristine is very responsive and helpful because my flight was cancelled and rescheduled the following day. I was stressed out but she approved me to change my booking as well as my tour. She arranged my tours which I totally enjoyed even if it was compressed and very tiring. Their food is delicious as well. The co-hosts are also kind and accommodating. In short, I'd definitely choose this place again if given a chance to come back to Batanes.

Staying in Pananayan House, on a remote Sabtang island, was a truly unique experience. Perched on the cliff, right next to the beautiful lighthouse, the guesthouse offers absolutely amazing views of the ocean, while the sound of crushing waves add to the whole atmosphere. Almost all tourists visit Sabtang with a day tour. Once they depart, the island goes back to its normal “fishing village” routine. Take your time and stay here for at least one night. There are plenty opportunities for hiking, taking great pictures and interacting with - very welcoming - local inhabitants. My big thanks go to Pending and Fafa: the couple who actually owns and runs guesthouse. They welcomed me as if I was a member of family: Pending took me on a small island tour, while Fafa prepared an excellent lobster dinner. I loved my time at Pananayan and regretted that I booked one night only.
