This is a renovated 150-year-old house. Located in the mountains at an altitude of about 400 meters in the middle of Mt. Iwara in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, you can enjoy beautiful views in every season. The fresh air and water, the location, and the spacious space are very popular! Wake up in the morning to the sound of wild birds, the babbling of the river, and sweet, delicious water. Check-in is available from 1 pm so you can enjoy your stay. The Itokuro Estate is a historic Edo-era home built over 200 years ago. Newly renovated, it blends modern comfort with traditional Japanese architecture. Yumi and Yasumichi, the on-site caretakers, live in a separate area and do not share any living spaces or bathrooms with guests. They are available to assist guests and provide transportation to/from the local train station. Bicycles are available for the guests to explore the beautiful beaches and countryside of Itoshima.
