Holiday rentals with beach access in Izu Islands

This place is awesome! I booked one night and ended up staying 3. It’s frontline ocean view. It was super chill . The bus stop is right in front. They offer bike to explore the island for free. Thanks Akun 🤝

La personne qui nous accueilli au logement était charmante et nous a données toutes les informations dont nous avions besoin pour visiter les environs. Elle était toujours réactive en cas de question. Concernant le logement, nous avons été agréablement surpris il était un peu plus grand que ce que les photos laissaient penser. Il est entièrement équipé et très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ici et le recommandons sans hésiter.

Awesome location across a tiny street to the beach…great for multiple families or group of friends. We had a great stay & have already recommended it to others!

We loved our stay at the treehouse! Beautiful location and beautiful house. With some attention to detail they could easily make it a 5 star place to stay.

We loved our stay at Noriko’s! The place was immaculately clean, peaceful, quiet and an amazing view. We spent the mornings listening to the birds in the peaceful setting. The chairs were comfy and the amenities Noriko provided was unexpected and added a welcoming touch! Coffee, tea, water and bath sponges! The beds were clean and comfortable with air con machines in every room. We spent our evenings winding down from the active day in Shimoda with a movie from the provided Netflix account and a cozy 7/11 night snack. Hard to beat such a peaceful evening. The new designated parking spot was easy to park into! Thank you Noriko for such a wonderful stay!! We loved our time in Shimoda!

A beautifully designed comfortable stay in Shimoda. The house was better than the photos, plenty of space for our family with everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. Would stay again!

Loved staying here with my family. The place is secluded and private and feels like you’re in a small village surrounded by greenery. But you walk ten minutes along the boardwalk and you’re at beautiful Ohama beach. The perfect beach long weekend. Can’t wait to come back.

ペット犬と２泊させていただきました。周辺は抜群に眺望がよく、スーパーなども徒歩数分圏内で過ごしやすかったです。 すぐ近くに温泉がいくつもあって、かつ家のお風呂も温泉が入れるので温泉三昧でした。 朝早くからひとっ風呂あびて海岸を散歩したり、ゆっくり過ごすことができました。スーパーも徒歩数分圏内で、とても便利な場所でしたが、やはり家をでて1分で見晴らしのよい海岸にでられるのはなかなかないと思います。 シュノーケリングが楽しめる夏にまたお邪魔させてください！

Great stay! Strong internet/ WiFi. Close to downtown. Free bike use. Easy checkin, good communication l, and clean apartment. I stayed to go surfing nearby and they had parking available for my car.

Very good place to stay! The beach is just a short 5 minute walk which we very much enjoyed. The view from the balcony is great. Not a whole lot of places to eat nearby but there is a full kitchen to cook with. We also stayed during typhoon and host was very responsive and let us stay an extra day as the trains were suspended.

I booked in the late winter so the greenery wasn't quite as verdant as the photo, but that's understandable. The condo with tatami sleeping area comes well-equipped with a very nice bathroom, kitchen, and sit-down outdoor gas grill on the patio for DIY teppanyaki. Note that access from the bus from Shimoda (which runs every hour or two) is best using the 2nd driveway (it has big "BBQ ⇧" painted on it); also there is currently a 9:24AM bus back which worked out great for the 10:15 Odoriko express back to Kanagawa-ken. I didn't try the adjacent BBQ restaurant with "Taco Cabana" (sounded great) but hope to the next time I get back to this very scenic part of Japan.
