Historically charming StudioMy home a charming 1923 bungalow and studio (formerly garage) . Avondale is a charming historical neighborhood near downtown Jacksonville. The neighborhood is built along St John's river. A wonderful mix of homes No 2 houses are alike. The neighborhood was a head of it's time built with many pocket parks and large parks as well as mini shop/restaurants area throughout. In fact the Avondale shops restaurants are within walking distance from me.

- I will explain the basics of kayaking, and provide you with the equipment you need. This tour is good for beginners, or for people who just enjoy kayaking in a natural environment. We will paddle up Pottsburg creek. This creek is more sheltered from the wind than the main St. Johns river. Most of the other watercraft on this creek are likely to be kayaks, as it is too narrow for most boats. I will point out any interesting birds or plants as we travel upstream. We will then return to our starting point. The whole experience should last approximately 1.5 hours. Please let me know if anyone under the age of 16 will be on the tour. - I will meet the guests at the Dutton Island Preserve launch with a paddle board and all needed equipment waiting for them. I will give guests an on land lesson on SUP, paddle strokes, and safety. We will then paddle out and I will help them with gaining balance and confidence if needed. We will paddle along the inlets of the intracoastal and enjoy the nature and beauty of Florida’s waterways. We will anchor half way through the paddle for a snack break and then paddle back to the launch. I can also take pictures of the guests and send afterwards. Other things to note Must be able to swim.
