GoGungJae Hanok Stay

Gogeumjae (Koongyeomjae) was built to mean the residence of the governor of Gocheong, and it was interpreted as a space to serve visitors like a governor. It is a two-story hanok that combines modern robustness and the beauty of hanok in harmony to create a comfortable resting place, and it is located in a high place with excellent scenery. Gogungjae is located in Madong, Dongang-myeon, adjacent to Bolli, at the top of the Gocheok Map. Gocheung, Yeosu, Bollgyo, Boseong, Suncheon, and Gwangyang are nearby, making it a great place to visit various places. During the day, you can visit the peaceful Madong village, which has been designated as a traditional folk amusement with 200 years of tradition, "Gocheung Madong Byeonsinje and Magu" (designated as an intangible cultural heritage of Jeollanam-do), and take a walk along the Bamboo Trail and the reservoir to blow away the fatigue and emotions that have accumulated.
