Quinta das Fontainhas. DOURO VALLEY is situated in the heart of the Douro Valley. Guests can enjoy the exclusive use of the entire property and the breathtaking scenery that will make for a unique and relaxing stay. The house, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, is the result of the reconstruction of a 19th century winery and offers the essential facilities for a peaceful holiday. There are two outdoor patios, a large stone table and a barbecue. The swimming pool is set in the vineyards.

House located in the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region, a World Heritage Site, located just 5 km from downtown Peso da Régua. Composed of 3 suites (2 of which have access to the living room from the outside), 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room, an extensive balcony overlooking the Douro River to drink a good glass of wine and relax at the end of the day. To enjoy and socialize with friends/family, you can enjoy the pool with a wonderful view of the much appreciated Douro River.

If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). With a huge green space surrounding it, enjoy hiking and picnics at the stone table. If the weather does not permit, you will find the interior quite cozy with a fireplace that will illuminate your emotions night after night.

The gorgeously designed house is located in a generations old family property and derives from the reconstruction of an ancient haystack made of stone where rabbits were once bred - hence its name (“Casa dos Coelhos” stands for “House of the Rabbits” in Portuguese).
