Our home is on a quiet 3 acre property just 5 miles from town. We have vegetable gardens, fruit orchards and dozens of berry bushes. We have amazing views of the Olympic Mountains and our neighbor is a lavender farm! The studio apartment is a bright, sunny place which is attached to our home, but has its own entrance. It's a wonderful venue for visitors to the area being close to both the water and the mountains and the lavender farms. We are a short ferry ride to both Victoria and Seattle.

As the valley became more residential the cottage has been nicely converted to a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. Pasture and farm still abound and mix with wildlife and recreation. Olympic National Park and Forest just to the south. Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Recreation Area to the north. Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal and Seattle to the east.

On a quaint country road with views of the Olympic mountains to the south and the Salish sea to the north you will find a 5 acre sheep farm that we call (with a nod to the Scottish tradition) the Crofts. Our Katmoget Croft is light and airy with high ceilings, quirky decor and windows on all sides that frame the pastoral surroundings. It features a well-appointed kitchen with bar seating, comfortable queen bed, flat screen tv, starlink internet, and large patio/outdoor living area.

The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!
