Holiday rentals with beach access in Jembrana Regency

Drew and Adinda have created a little paradise oasis for surf and yoga in West Bali. Sharing the villa with them was a real treat as they are kind and welcoming, looking after their guests well. We stayed for 3 months on the garden floor of their villa and they lived a floor above on the deck pool level with access open to guests to use the pool and upper deck. The garden was the pride and joy of Drew, yielding tropical fruits we ate regularly and vanilla pods blooming. The close surf spot is a 5 minute stroll from the house, at times empty, or the surf schools bring students. It’s not always on, but there are other breaks in the area with activity. Adinda was our yoga teacher for 4-5 weekly private and/or group classes. She is patient and knowledgeable, sharing her personal experience and spirit in a way that is admirable and deep. Waking up with the lush garden right in front and going to surf or do yoga first thing in the morning, this was an experience we will never forget.

Medewi Manor is situated just off the main road from Denpasar to Java but you wouldn't know it! In between the local Mosque broadcasting prayers over the loud speaker 5 times per day it was peaceful and relaxing. Views from upstairs are amazing and the pool was fabulous, we swam several times per day. Would recommend hiring the scooter to get around the local area and also to brave the highway to get to Medewi Point and the Gede Warung to watch some local surfing. The kitchen had fairly basic cooking utensils. We planned to prepare our own meals but found that we ended up eating out at least once per day because the local cafes were fabulous, especially Nel's Cafe. We met some people at the Sky Deck on Saturday night and found all of the locals and staff to be friendly and helpful. We loved the 'old style' Bali feel and could have stayed on a lot longer! Would definitely recommend Medewi as a destination if you are looking for a break from the hustle.

Great place to stay, beautiful, peaceful and quiet area away from the tourist masses, absolutely lovely and super helpful manager onsite (Yani & his wife), short walk from the beach and restaurants, great pool, fast internet, modern and clean amenities, comfortable bed and great communal area with a really nice pool table, table tennis and an Italian wood fired pizza oven. Paul and Sri were very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions, all in all a really wonderful place to stay, we will definitely try and come back again! We truly loved this place — it was a wonderful 3-day getaway! We stayed here during Nyepi and it was magical: peaceful, quiet, with just the sound of the sea. The villa is new, everything is clean and fresh — it feels really good to be there. The house is open-style, which adds to the charm, though something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a fully enclosed space. The pool is amazing — big, clean, and with a great view. The kitchen is comfortable and nice to cook in, though we wish there had been a bit more kitchenware. Overall, a lovely experience — this place will stay in our memory!

Our stay was amazing. Very peaceful and lots to do in the resort itself. Very nice restaurants with super friendly staff and tasty food. Fair prices. Amazing pools and even a small gym. If you want to zone out - this is your place. The house itself was the perfect place to chill and look at the ocean. We had a great time. Thank you!

A gorgeous villa with impressive landscaping right on the beach, lots of room everywhere, both indoors and out. Lots of places to relax according to your mood, be it in loungers next to the infinity pool, comfy seating by the dining area and jacuzzi, in the gazebo overlooking the pool, on the back terrace, or at the seating area right adjacent to the beach (incredible and romantic sunsets). The staff were friendly, but in now way overbearing. The cook prepared good, sometimes basic, meals for us that were very tasty and introduced us to some local flavors as well. We told here what we wanted for the next day, she did the shopping and brought the receipts, this worked well. The beach is really nice, with big waves kicking up on some days. Standing in the water facing the villa, while looking at the sunrise coming up in the east and seeing the full moon going down over the volcanos of Java in the west is almost a spiritual experience.

Adi's villa was perfect for our group. He was super responsive and helpful with all of our questions! The local caretaker, Kadek, was so helpful and treated us amazingly well. He was able to seamlessly rent us the 5 scooters that we wanted for our stay. Definitely opt for him to cook you at least 1 meal! We had 2 meals and they were delicious! So worth it! Also, Mudiarse and his nephew Putu (or Putu's wife Jessy) drove us to and from the airport and on day trips when we preferred to be in a car or for longer excursions. They are such nice and genuine people as well and we were treated like family! The villa is right between 2 great surf beaches that are a short scooter ride away in either direction, but you can also surf next to the house! The beach near the house was beautiful and quiet. We loved the more authentic experience in West Bali. Hopefully we can come back and visit next year!

great place for a short stay in Mediwi. got some water leakage during pouring rain, but host was really helpful in dealing the issues. Need a motorbike if you want to stay here.
