Holiday rentals in Julatten

My fiancé and I stayed here at the end of a two-week trip through Queensland, originally booking it for the convenient airport location—but we were genuinely blown away by how great the stay was. We even joked about changing our flight to stay longer! The decor is fun and unique (we’re still talking about the wallpaper), and the vibe of the place is super cozy and welcoming. There’s also a really thoughtful and detailed guidebook—definitely worth reading through when you arrive. The highlight for us, though, was the outdoor kitchen and garden area. We spent a peaceful couple of hours out there just enjoying coffee/breakfast while taking in the landscaping and unforgettable pets and fish. If you’re a solo traveler or a couple who appreciates character, charm, and a fantastic outdoor space, you’ll love it.

The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in hands down. Location was beautiful, how was so friendly. We felt so at home and wish we booked a few more days to really enjoy the space. It was so well thought out, from the table setting, confinement’s for cooking, and flow from outside to in. Everything just felt like a dream.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The place was very nice—clean, comfortable, and it had a lovely garden that added to the relaxing atmosphere. It genuinely felt like home. One standout feature was the huge TV, which was a great bonus for relaxing in the evenings. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely stay again.

Lovely spot and the little extras Jule left for us were so appreciated after a long drive up. Loved it. The beach is so tranquil and just steps from the house.

Great location and easy walking distance to main restaurants. Very clean also. Laundry had 2 washing machines which was much appreciated as it meant we could refresh all our clothing.

We loved staying at Robyn’s place in Port Douglas. It was beautifully kept, comfortable and had everything we needed. And a walkable distance from all the main attractions!

We had a super comfortable stay here. Very well maintained amenities, the apartment itself was clean and cozy. Walkable distance to the market, restaurants and the Port. Would definitely recommend!

Barry was a responsive host. The apartment is small and compact, ideal for a couple and comfortable with all amenities you need and very fresh and clean. The kitchen was compact and easily workable. The location is ideal as it is an easy walk to the beach and also to Macrossan Street. We are from nearby however we often like to stay in Port Douglas so we will definitely book again and we will also recommend Barry’s apartment.

Good location to walk into the city. Apartment was clean and easy to get into. Just make sure you know what you’re getting into as there is no living room and you have to pull up the black out curtain next to the bed to leave. So it’s a bit of a pain if one guest wants to sleep while another is awake.
