Monthly Rentals in Kaber

Just got home from a 2 night stay at Malcolms hut. Malcolm was friendly from the get go. The hut exceeded our expectations, cool wee outhouse for the shower, toilet microwave and fridge. Cozy bed, good selection of books for spotting the birds in the garden (a pair of binoculars were found). The location and garden is just beautiful. The bird song from the chaffinches, jays, to the lambs bleeting in the neighbouring field. Red squirrels on your doorstep, and a lovely woodpecker who likes to feed on the bird feeder on the tree to the right of the cabin. We enjoyed a nice jaunt to Brough, Kirkby Steven and Castle Barnard. Alll in all 10/10, a very special idyllic find, and we'll most certainly be back. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys the sound of nature, and a break from life. Thanks Malcolm & Karen.

Great location for what we were doing. Hosts very helpful and responsive. Accommodation lovely and cosy, traditional cottage with modern features inside. Hopefully will stay again.

Great setting, easy walk to town, very dog friendly area, will definately return.

Lovely space with everything I needed. I only stayed for one night, but would come back, if I'm ever in the area again. Maybe not something for people who are afraid of spiders, as I have seen at least three really big one during my stay.
