The cottage rests at the foothills of the Western Ghats, enveloped by nature, providing a harmonious experience. It's an old house, so luxury isn't on offer. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. They gave a tour of their garden and offered ripe jackfruit. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing you to prepare meals; you just need to buy groceries. Overall, it was a peaceful retreat. I wish we had more time to explore the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place, especially for more extended stays.

A Home Away from Home in Thalassery! We had the pleasure of staying at Leela, a stunning property hosted by the incredible Prasanna Kumari Maam. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel like family. The property is beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We were provided with a thorough tour of the place, ensuring we felt comfortable and at ease. What truly made our stay special was the host’s exceptional hospitality. She treated us to local delicacies, including a traditional dish we couldn't find anywhere else in the city. Her kindness is something that has left a lasting impression. We're so grateful to have found Leela and Prasanna Kumari Maam through Airbnb. We can't wait to return and experience her warm hospitality again. Amazing host, beautiful & well maintained property, great play to stay with family!! Pros: 1. 5bhk villa, can easily accommodate a large family 2. Fully furnished kitchen for cooking 3. Large dining table, the entire family can dine together 4. Large courtyard, ample parking space 5. Badminton court was lot of fun 6. Two living rooms and balcony, good place for bonding and spending time with family/ friends 7. Kids loved the bathtub We would love to come back, highly recommend the property to fellow travelers !!
