The cabin is located in a small cabin area overlooking the sea, the Lyngsalpene and the fjords. There are nice sun conditions from morning to evening. It is wonderful to enjoy the view, sunrise and sunset, from inside or on the terrace outside. Winter offers beautiful lights that change throughout the day. And of course you can enjoy the magical northern lights dancing in the sky right from the cabin. Here you can go on a mountain hike, cycle, walk in the woods or to the sea, or just relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.

The surrounding area has an exciting war history as well as the world's northernmost whiskey distillery "Aurora Spirit" as a close neighbor. Wildlife right outside. The sea just below the house with a rock, arranged for a campfire. Very nice view of the majestic Lyngsalpene and Årøyholmen. Great opportunities for Northern Lights/Aurora borealis. Great hiking areas in the immediate vicinity, as well as everything Lyngen has to offer in terms of nature experiences.

In the city center it is well arranged with activity opportunities and parks for families with children. The cabin is sheltered and quiet, far from noise and traffic. On clear evenings you can enjoy a starry sky, and with a little luck you can experience the magical northern lights. The outdoor area is spacious and well furnished.

The best thing about this peaceful retreat is the location, right in the middle of nature, secluded and only minutes from beautiful hikes, world class skiing. The meadow where the house sits, extends all the way down to the pebble beach. In the winter, watch the northern lights above the lodge. In the summer, sit on the terrace all night enjoying the midnight sun. The house was built in 2016, well-equipped, very comfortable beds.

You can bring your whole family to this amazing home with plenty of space. The house is located by the sea in the center of Olderdalen. The shop, car ferry, gas station and pub are all within walking distance. Bus connection to Alta and Tromssa. Gorsabrua is about 35km away. Lyngen Alps, Storhaugen, Blåvatnet, Lyngen Staircase are easily accessible. There are also good fishing spots nearby. If you have an accident, the doctor on call can be found 17 km from Birtavarre.

Jorbaorrit Cabin, Langnes, Birtavarre

Jorbaorrit cabin is a cosy small cabin placed in Kåfjord between the mountains and the fjord. A perfect spot for relaxing and hiking the mountains summer and winter. Its a perfect starting point for visiting the valley where the Gorsa Bridge is situated and view to the beautiful Lyngen Alps. Skiing and hiking the popular kåfjord Alps. Storhaugen and Sorbmegaisa. Its cosy surroundings to sit outside and listen to the birds and enjoying the view.

Fortet - Former costal fort, Lyngen

Huset var tidligere en del av NATO-basen Årøybukt fort, og har vært brukt som både offisersbolig og vaktmesterbolig. Nå er huset blitt til familiens hytte og er et utmerket utgangspunkt for korte eller lange turer i Lyngens flotte natur. Hytta har fin utsikt mot Årøya og er i gangavstand til Aurora Spirit. Området har svært lite lysforurensning og er dermed velegnet til å jakte på nordlyset!
