We stayed with a family of four, 7 and 3 years old. Located near my wife's home, it was in the middle of the countryside, but with an ocean view, the bath, and the deck were great. There is a beautiful beach if you go a little, and it seems that there are few people, so it seems to be fun to play in the sea. Next time, it was an inn that I would like to use for swimming, barbecue, etc.

The facility was animal friendly, and I was happy that I was able to stay with two dogs.It was also a nice exterior and interior.There were many rooms, and we stayed with four families and 6 people, but everything was air-conditioned and the bed was beautiful.There was also a BBQ facility, and I was grateful for the charcoal service and help with the fire.Also, the owner was very personable and very kind, and the check-in time was flexible, which was helpful.It was an unforgettable summer memory, so we would like to stay again!

In my opinion, this listing and host are among the **BEST of Airbnb!** A highlight of our trip to Japan! Staying in Yui's house was a wonderful experience! She's a gracious, friendly, English-speaking local who personally met us at check-in, explained features of the home that were not obvious, and answered our questions. Yiu displays total pride and ownership of her property, which she decorated (drop-dead gorgeous!!), and made us feel welcome and appreciated. We remember Yui and the home fondly as it was a chance to stay in a typical, yet renovated Japanese vacation home -- an experience that was so different from our hotel and ryokan stays. The house has a full kitchen, a gorgeous traditional bathroom, super fast WiFi, and exceptional heating/AC and ventilation. Expect almost total silence on a secluded side street just minutes from Kirishima Kinkowan National Park. It's a pretty, peaceful place we are grateful to have experienced.

Very clean and clean homestay!Worth recommending to anyone.Very close to JR station, there are two big supermarkets, we cooked food in the kitchen on the last days of the trip.Umbrellas were also thoughtful at the door.The only thing that is lacking in the US is that there is actually only one bathroom, but for the reason of the web translation, I thought there would be 2 separate toilets, and the situation that mixed us up and there was some slight inconvenience.I'd love to come back if I get the chance.

My family of 4 (2 toddlers) used it.The large house was satisfactory for adults and children alike.The bathroom was spacious and very pleasant.The location is also conveniently located within walking distance to the sandy hot springs, making it easy to get out in Ibusuki city and Pillowzaki.

We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

We did not get to meet Tim but his lovely wife Kyoko greeted us. We had lunch in her cafe, food was excellent. Apartment had everything you need, including heat/ AC. Kyoko was kind enough to recommend a new and excellent onsen a five minute cab ride from their home. It was cheap and immaculate. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The only caution I would give is that although the listing showed up in Kagoshima it is an hour train ride from Kagoshima. I didn’t look carefully enough at map.
