The home was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed. But what really stood out was the kindness of the hosts. I got sick during my trip, and they took great care of me, bringing food, medicine, and checking in to make sure I was okay. Their hospitality made all the difference. This is an absolutely lovely little apartment in the charming little village of Pentakomo. The host Julie couldn’t have been helpful and welcoming, explaining the ways of the village and how to use the heating and the shutters on the windows for instance. The views from the terrace are amazing and there is plenty to do in the area, trip to Mount Olympus is outstanding or for the adventurous driver a trip to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Machaira. The village has a little shop, take note of its opening hours and I ate at the “Dragons Nest”, serving local cuisine despite its name. (Note, it was shut Sunday and Monday when I was there). If you’re a lover of fish restaurants then a visit to Zygi is a must. Thank you Julie for a lovely stay!
