Monthly Rentals in Kalimpong

I had a lovely stay at Dolly aunty's place. The loft is located bang in the middle of town but down a cul de sac, once you take the alley to the house, the traffic noise ceases and you enter a residential area that's quiet and peaceful. All local conveniences are located at walking distance. The apartment has a private terrace that overlooks Kalimpong town and the neighbouring mountainscapes. The bedroom is spacious, well ventilated with lots of windows and natural light. The kitchen unit is separate, next to the apartment, on the terrace. You can watch the clouds pass by the mountains as you cook/eat your meals. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, which in my case made long stay possible. This is a comfortable, safe, gem of a place, especially if you're a solo female traveler looking for long term rental. Dolly aunty is very easy to communicate, relatable and considerate, she always checked on me if I was ok and if I needed anything. Will definately revisit again.

Gaff is an excellent place to spend a holiday. I stayed here for five days. Close to main market. Cabs are available from main market to here. Shops for food and drinks are also available in front of the property. Shiavat is a nice and cooperative person. The people around here are also very nice. Will definitely stay here again next time. We had a 3 night stay at Sanjay's place and though it was pretty warm at Kalimpong, the house was cool, covered with greenery all around. If you like places which are away from the hustle and bustle, tucked within greenery, then this is the place to go. Food was homely and delicious. My 10 year old son was busy througout the stay playing in the adjoining areas in the property. We were travelling with old parents and my wife was recovering from a fractured foot so when we navigated through the flight of stairs to reach to our cottage, they did not seem happy. But all of that was gone the next days as they enjoyed all the walk they could get amidst the purity of nature. Sanjay and his staff are super responsive and always there with a smile. So in short, if you are looking at this property and reading my review, my suggestion would be to go ahead and book.

Kalimpong was a pleasant surprise, and Pranati homestay made our short holiday perfect. The place is exactly as described in the listing and feels truly like a home away from home. Prashant is more than just a host. He was tireless in his efforts to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Right from the time we booked, his communication and guidance were invaluable. His recommendations about local places to eat at and things to do were all perfect. I was so touched when he called us a day after we had checked out to enquire about our return journey. Would recommend everyone to give it a shot and spend a few blissful days at Pranati!
