This is a lovely and spacious oasis in the heart of the city. Even though it's peaceful and quiet a very short walk takes you to Connecticut Avenue and all the shops and restaurants as well as easy transit connections. An incredible bargain for the price.

Very relaxing and comfortable place. Close to many attractions around DC. Bright big windows where the sun rises and smell from bakery hits your nose in the morning. Stamped!

Sonder was a great place to stay. Very clean, very spacious, we had a great window view, and close to almost every!

Carole is a doll! Lovely lovely hostess. I adore her little house. It’s clean and cozy, tucked into a quiet little street in Georgetown that is a ten minute stroll to the “main drag” on Wisconsin—Tatte and Maman were my favorite breakfast spots during my visit. There is also a CVS in between the two in case you forget your toothbrush and toothpaste like I did haha. Lots of darling little shops on Wisconsin including hair and nail salons, skincare studios, art galleries, consignment and thrift stores. Lovely green spaces in the neighborhood—Dumbarton Gardens is a hop and a skip away, as is Tudor Place. Carole has two cats that are absolutely darling, too. I didn’t want to leave!
