“An outstanding place to stay! The place is cosy and has everything you could need for a short break or a long stay. Lisa was very friendly and was always happy to help woth anything. The airbnb is in a wonderful and quiet location, perfect for people like us who wanted to explore the national park and the beautiful surrounding area! We had a fantastic stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone!”
In the Canadian Rockies hamlet of Exshaw (12 min to Canmore) a modern 2nd storey 1 queen bedroom suite and kitchen/living area and a queen murphy bed makes this the perfect place to stay for 1-3 people (or 4 if kids). Stroll the Bow River, hike, ski or ride your mountain bike right out the door. Exshaw has family parks, an outdoor rink, a corner store with liquor, a restaurant, a legion pub and a great library. This is a unique place and a great deal compared to Canmore and Banff! (DP#36/19)
“This is a great little suite! First of all it’s beautiful, brand new, sparkling clean. The pictures don’t do it justice. It feels huge for a garage suite! The main bed is comfy and the Murphy bed is the best of its kind - I usually get the pullout couch and this was so much better. There is coffee and cream along with a lot of breakkie foods which is such a nice touch. We had a few questions during our stay and Sue was great - quick reply and happy to help. Our only complaint was something beyond Sue’s control - when the wind picked up there was some flap on the rooftop which made enough noise to keep us awake. Earplugs/white noise machine might solve the issue. This spot is a steal compared to staying in Canmore, so long as you don’t mind the short drive it is totally worth it. It exceeded our expectations for size, comfort, and amenities. Sue has knocked it outta the park on this spot.”
Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. No indoor bathroom or shower facilities, but public facilities are available nearby. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter!
“Lovely like cabin. Easy to access, gets warm with the fire, but of course gets cold in the morning when the fire went out in the night haha. We spent the time reading by candle light, cooking over a fire, waking up to a beautiful sunrise, patting the doggos, giving carrots to the horsos, cosying up on the couch and chopping wood in the backyard. Had a great time! Thank you for sharing your place with us.”
