Built 130 years ago, the renovated old private house "Shiki no Ie" is quietly located in the Tsunahashi area of Misaka-cho, in the eastern part of Gifu Prefecture. It is an old private house inn where you can feel the changing seasons with your skin, overlooking a pure stream and calm fields through the large cherry trees in front of you, with a rich natural forest behind it. While retaining the tasteful appearance of the old house, such as the exterior and beams, the functions necessary for comfortable accommodation, such as the water circulation and bedrooms, have been improved, and the old Japanese charm and modern, high-quality space have been combined. With the cooperation of local farmers, you can enjoy a small satoyama farming experience that can be experienced in the season a few hours before check-in (about 2-3 hours, the start time is scheduled around 1 pm). This plan allows you to bring home a "small" amount of seasonal vegetables as a souvenir from the cooperating farmers, and you can enjoy cooking them fresh at the facility. You can help local farmers, receive seasonal vegetables, and learn how to enjoy farming in a way that is unique to the area. You may also be taught how to eat the vegetables you receive deliciously!
