The beach cottage has 1 room and a sauna. The hot tub is available with a separate agreement and weather permitting, a surcharge of 130 €/week. Amenities: electricity, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, running water from a borehole, fireplace. The place is available from the beginning of October to the middle of December and again from the end of February to the end of April.

Easy to get to by public transport. Skating rink in Vesankajärvi in winter and a sledding track. Disc golf course Vesala monttu 2 km, Petäjävesi 20 km. Laajavuori 9 km.

The living area is 30 m², the large IKI sauna stove provides soft steam. Bed for four and a sofa bed, a lot of terrace. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dry toilet is warm and odorless. Equipment includes a Cardinal grill, smokehouse, barrel, boat and games. Firewood is included, electricity and drinking water are available. The beach cottage is located 2 km from the main road, on the border of Pihtipudas and Viitasaari. Sauna, swim and relax, even along the way, or stay longer! You can stay in the cottage on the loft and in the cabin. Air heat pump and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna. Tap water is potable. Clean outdoor toilet in the outbuilding, where a new ecological and hygienic burning toilet seat will be installed in spring 2026. You will have access to a gas grill and a rowboat. The basic reservation includes bedding for one double bed for two people.

My dad lives in the separate upstairs apartment and will help you if needed but you also have full privacy. The popular national park of Konnevesi and the best fishing possibilities in southern Finland are just nearby. You can rent the outside jacuzzi and summer time the beach house separately.

The house is located in the center of Pihtipudas near the E75 road. Local grocery stores, services and events (Health Center, pharmacy, nature trails, ski trails, etc.) are within walking distance. Bed linen and towels are not included in the basic fee; bring your own bed linen and towels. Linen can be rented from the house for an additional fee of 7.50/person. Please let us know in advance.
