From Kowar there are numerous hiking trails (including Śnieżka, the Edge Pass, Skalny Table), which are a great alternative to (often crowded) trails starting, e.g. from Karpacz. There are also many places worth visiting in Kowary, such as the Underground Tourist Route Kowary, the Miniature Park of Monuments of Lower Silesia, or the Sentiment Museum.
