In a cottage on the shore of a steamy woman, you get to spend a vacation with a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Drinking water can be obtained directly from the kitchen faucet. Guests have access to the entire cottage, which includes sleeping accommodation for two, a sauna, a toilet and a small kitchen. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although our small, modern and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential courtyard, here you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful views. There are excellent fishing opportunities on the lake. What's more, the location is ideal for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.
