In the village there is a Mini Market for your basic needs, in just 30 minutes drive you can visit bigger towns of Lassithi prefecture. Among other activities scuba diving and water sports are offered for your entertainment.

Efthimia's house

Efthimia's house is a traditional stone house situated in the old neighborhood of Kavousi village, between the two byzantine churches of Saint George and Twelve Apostles. The history of this house includes a true love story and marriage during the years of the 1 rst World War of my Great-granparents Efthimia and Michalis. About 100 years later my fother and i decided to restore and renovate this traditional house with much love and respect and to offer a real Cretan experience to our guests.

It is 17 km from Ierapetra, 24 km from Agios Nikolaos and 40 km from Sitia. Grandpa's old coffee shop became the ideal place to stay in this beautiful and idyllic village in a quiet neighborhood offering unique peaceful conditions.

Villa Kalliopi is ideally located just 3 km from the picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos and Lake Voulismeni. The distance from the sea is 20 meters with easy and comfortable access. It is a two-storey maisonette at 50 square meters.There are gardens around the house, a traditional stone well. At the same time you will find a stone table in which shade is created from the foliage of the olive trees.
