A very special stay in a peaceful farm with a wonderful, local host family. We loved the intentionality of the spaces, the communication w the host (local family can use Google translate), and how well they accommodated our food allergies and requests. For those w different abilities - Lots of stairs and very bumpy road coming in! Not a place to do remote work w limited service/wifi but a great place for retreating! We would definitely come back and recommend for those looking for a peaceful stay.

Little cabin in the middle of the forest with amazing view of the sunsets of Nepal. If you are looking for a silent time in nature this is the place. The place is a little far from a market but Yash offered to bring stuff or give a ride in his motorbike when needed so it was no problem. Also there's places to eat relatively close if you don't mind a small walk through nature. The hospitality was superior, got provided wood and had a cozy bonfire almost every day, also Yash invited me to eat with his amazing kind family. I hill hopefully come back in the future, only stayed 8 days and wished I could stay more.

We had a fantastic stay at the Tahaja Guest Tower! It was a great way to end a four week trip in Nepal. The Tower itself is so beautiful, with a very nice terrace to sit outside. Nice beds, great shower, coffee and tea. The whole property is beautiful, quiet, with a lot of green and flowers. And still just a 20 min walk to Bhaktapur. Puneshwari and Mohan make delicious breakfast and dinner, and are so helpfull. Contact with Lena was also very easy.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful accommodation. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything. The place itself was warm and inviting, with lovely details that made it feel like home. Rashil and Kiwako were outstanding hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot to stay. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!

We had a fantastic stay at Veronica and Raajib's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, super nicely decorated with a lot of plants in and around the house, and offers amazing views. It's a perfect getaway. Additionaly, Veronica and Raajib were very responsive and caring, and offered help with anything we needed. I can highly recommend this gem.

Yugin was a superhost. The house was clean and looked just as the pictures. But Yugin being an exceptional host helped my parents who traveled from India, in every way possible. From helping with the currency to booking taxis and providing local knowledge and recommendations, he has done it all. Highly recommended.

Staying at Ramesh's place is one of the most special experiences I've had in now over 14 years of AirBnb experiences. This is truly a homestay. If you are looking for a box on a wall with a code and not meeting a single local. May I say, like in Covid times stay home. This is truly an immersion in Nepal. An incredibly lovely family, you have your privacy when you need it and your advice and cultural immersion which is what I hope we are looking for when travelling to magnificent Nepal. Ramesh will help in airport pickup, dropoff and excursions at unbeatuable prices! Ramesh and his family represent what AirbnB was supposed to be and what a true traveller should look for: LIVING truly in the country you visit, with the locals. IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

THE BEST AIR BNB I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. PERIOD. I spent 6 nights here and I didn’t want to leave. It it steps from bakhtapur gate. I decided to stay in this ancient village as my touch down point and communite to Kathmandu, patan, nagarkot, etc. And I have NO regrets. Get the app called indrive and you can get drives anywhere and so reasonable. As for the stay, the place was a sanctuary. You are right outside the square, you are fully immerse and are living in an ancient build, yet it is completely modern design and feels so peaceful and at home. The hosts are unbelievable. The place is pristine. I wish I could stay longer. It is a MUST do if you are in Kathmandu. I cannot say enough good things about it. As you are by the square, just bring ear plugs to sleep with or a fan app, that will do the trick! You can get a week pass for the temples for the same price as a day pass if you give your passport number. A MUST. I woke up every morning and had coffee with the lovey locals.
