This is an excellent place to stay if you are in that region. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, and the host sent us a long list of local recommendations which were quite handy. The place itself is exactly as described, with all amenities available for a self-catered stay. There was a wide variety of breakfast supplies kept in the kitchen (bread, eggs, yogurt, milk, fruits, jams,... the list is long), even taking our food preferences into account. Dedicated parking space available in front of the door. Highly recommended and would love to come back again.

We loved staying at this beautiful, peaceful lodge this weekend. The lodge was clean, to a high standard and well cared for. The beds and furniture are extremely comfortable and we felt very relaxed and at home. Stuart is very friendly and helpful, he messaged us some details before arriving, came to see we were settled in and provided recommendations during our stay. Overall, we had a lovely stay and hope to stay here again. Thank you!

We could not have wished for a more relaxing break. Lovely to see Gay and Jonathan again, as welcoming and friendly as ever - you could not wish for better hosts. The studio is a joy to spend time in and is very well thought out and cared for. When we did tear ourselves away from it (it's so peaceful and relaxing to spend time in!) we easily filled our time with a variety of things to do from the doorstep. Exploring BoA itself: the Tithe Barn area and the area called Tory, with its great views and lovely gardens. We also did walks to Iford Manor, Freshford, and Limpley Stoke (great pub with imaginative menu and lovely outdoor space!). Canal and river walks so pleasant and easy. We had some lovely food out but also found it perfect for picking up bits and pieces locally (including a good Sainsbury's, which we walked to along the canal) when we decided to cook for ourselves. We have booked to come back, can't wait for our lovely little 'mini' break!
