You don't often come across a place like this on Airbnb. The more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time travel to a 19th century village in the far north of Finland. The property is best suited for a friend of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shores of Lake Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping barn, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Fireplace. Washing in the sauna, the use of the sauna is agreed with the hosts. The hosts use the other buildings on the premises.

Welcome to enjoy your holiday in Rovaniemi and be our guest. Cozy 50m2 apartment of a familyhouse by a river: Kitchen, livingroom with sleeping loft, bathroom, balcony, underground sauna and jacuzzi (extra price), barbecue and parking place. There are four beds (one double and two singles) and if necessary baby's bed. Apartment is located in a peacefull familyhouse area and it takes 5 min drive and 20 min walk to city center. Supermarket is very close also (2 min drive and 10 min walk).

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only 25 meters to the water. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. We have a spacious garden and a private car parking. The Garden Cottage is located 2 km from the city centre of Rovaniemi, and 10 km from Rovaniemi airport and the Santa Claus Village.
