Monthly Rentals in Kennacraig

We loved our short stay in the wee cottage. It was very cozy, clean, and homey. We would happily return for another stay, and highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet rural accommodation. Admittedly there isn’t much in the immediate vicinity for food or activities, but plenty to do just a short drive away. Diane was excellent recommending some places to visit and eat. If this catches your eye - book it!

We loved staying at Agnes’s place, so comfortable and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the little lounge /dining room was very cosy. The kitchen is well-equipped and we appreciated the yard full of spring flowers, where we could sit out in the sun to have lunch. We were very lucky with the weather during our visit and the house is really well-situated for exploring along the Kintyre way, the island of Gigha (beautiful) and other peninsulas and islands nearby. Fresh flowers, real coffee, biscuits, olive oil, herbs and spices were much appreciated. I hope we’ll be back and highly recommend this lovely little place, which was also really good value. We enjoyed everything being within a few minutes walk, the proximity to a variety of ferry ports, and the general feel of Tarbert. Going in low season worked well for us. Campbeltown, Skipness, Arran, and Gigha were all easy day trips. We had visited Islay on a different trip, but this too would've been a handy outing. Having the Co-op and the Corner House nearby were reliable mainstays. Cafe Ca'Dora is the place for casual dining.

Lovely compact flat which had everything you need for the perfect stay. Shereen was very helpful when we asked any questions and checked up on us as we were there for 4 weeks to make sure everything was going well. We very much appreciated that. There’s lots to do in Tarbert and we were minutes away from good eateries. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple who want to be in the heart of the village
