Monthly Rentals in Kentmere

Richard’s lodge is lovely & in a very nice holiday park with glorious views. We were very lucky with the weather & we enjoyed using the outside seating area on the patio & watching & listening to the abundant birdlife, & catching glimpses of the birds using Richard’s little birdhouse! The lodge is comfortable, clean, spacious, decorated & furnished to a high spec, & is well equipped. We found Troutbeck to be a good base for exploring the surrounding areas, & we enjoyed travelling on the steam railway, & taking the ferry across to Bowness. There are a number of NT properties to visit in the area, our favourites were Beatrix Potter’s home, Sizergh & Townend, & we used the open-top buses to explore the area (free using our ‘oldies’ travel passes!👍🏻). We had some lovely meals, & a yummy breakfast, at the Queen’s Head just down the road. They had some good beer there too! Richard is a very pleasant & responsive host, and we would highly recommend his lovely lodge. Thanks Richard!

An idyllic location that can be enjoyed from within the property thanks to the extent of thewindow views of the beautiful rolling hills. Breath taking and peaceful, the whole family were in awe of the place. It was perfect for a group of all ages and the location is great for visiting Windermere and the other attractions of the Lake District. Things like the bedding, linen and towels were hotel like quality. There are little instructions left around for easy understanding. We would definitely go back

Jeanette’s place was perfect! It was so cosy, warm, clean, and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous and a great place to spend time when the sun is shining. We felt right at home. Jeanette was super helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We have a wonderful few days here. Ian hosted us superbly: clear, proactive communication; a perfectly clean house that matched the pictures, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom; a wood burner (with logs); and comfortable beds. The location was perfect for us to get into the hills and it was good value. We could not have asked for more.
