This is our second time staying here and like the first time we had a wonderful time. Our family enjoyed the time together in this beautiful place. Looking forward to coming back.

Have stayed here before and the place is nice and quiet and close to the downtown area with lots to do. The place is always clean and it has a nice ambient neighborhood.

If in town for work or vacation highly recommend this property for any needs. The property is beautiful & cozy. Good & safe neighborhood. Jacob was very helpful & responsive for any questions I had. Definitely a 5 star property.

We enjoyed our stay! The house is older but with the updated decor and comfortable beds you hardly noticed. Absolutely charming decor and plenty of space for us! The beds and blankets are so so comfortable! We all slept so well! We will absolutely be back to stay! Thank you!

I traveled to the area for a funeral, and I was deeply grateful for the host’s kindness and flexibility during my stay. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as advertised. The host’s thoughtful communication and hospitality made a challenging time much easier. I would gladly book again and highly recommend this listing to others.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well decorated home. Everyone was comfortable, we easily cooked meals in the kitchen, and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open with turkeys calling in the morning. The location was good as it’s tough to get much closer. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed how well stocked the home was. Would return!

Dear Arturo and Jessica, Thank you for allowing me and my dog parents to stay at your amazing home. I had the best vacation of my life! There were so many things to do and smell. The goats were amazing. They were very curious about me. I are absolutely fascinating. They showed all their goat behaviors. I appreciate the windows on the door and in the primary bedroom closet a bit lower so I could view the goats from the house. After long days of goat observation I was exhausted and the the house was huge so there was plenty of floor space to take naps. Overall this was the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. 2 paws up!

My family booked a 3 night stay at the Iris house, we felt right at home and ultimately my wife wished we booked a longer stay. House smelled and looked very clean upon arrival, instantly my 4 year old was excited for the board games, toys & books. My wife loved the house, and said it was cute & cozy. Our family & dog really enjoyed our time out back with plenty to do. Kermit was readily available for any questions or help. The neighborhood is quiet, even being close to a park and school. Nice area for morning and evening walks , and close to the main road for shopping and restaurants. Beds were clean and very comfortable, we will be back next year!

You can tell Jeanette takes pride in the space; it’s functional, clean, and has everything you need! Such a great experience! We will be back!

Christopher was an incredible host. Quick to answer any questions we had and was extremely accommodating. Stunning views from anywhere on this property. Location is great for those wanting to enjoy Sequoia National Park. Would def return in the future!

Clean quiet wonderful place in southwest Bakersfield. Will stay here again when in town if available.

Absolutely loved this property! It was much bigger than appeared in the photos and very peaceful and private. The shuffleboard game in the basement has become my new favorite game to play with friends. Shannon was very responsive and helpful with her messages, I highly recommend this property if you want to relax!

We loved our stay! The yurt was a unique experience and the whole setting was calm, quiet and peaceful. We also found it to be a great base to explore the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Spencer was a great host and made us feel instantly at home.

Great home with everything you need. Super close to town. The only thing is that the neighbors clearly dont like Airbnb. They have picket signs up protesting short-term rentals which doesnt make you feel very comfortable. Doesnt affect the house at all.

We loved our stay at Pedro’s and felt right at home. Perfect location for the event we were attending. Great backyard for our dog. Nice relaxing living room with comfortable furniture and played many games of Connect Four. We did cook most of our meals at the house and they did have everything we needed to cook with. The location is close to a Starbucks and Walmart Neighborhood Market which was perfect for us. Pedro was also kind enough to suggest favorite spots to eat, which was very much appreciated. We had no issues with our stay and hope Pedro’s place will be available again next year when we travel for the same event.

The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kids loved having the safe backyard to play in. The fireplace was very cozy and we enjoyed having morning coffee outside by the fire as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food for 6 of us. We spent 2 days exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park with a couple of days just hanging out in this lovely home.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very nice and clean. A couple of bugs here and there but that’s expected since you’re staying out in nature! It was a very relaxing getaway.

This was our 8th time staying at Rio's Ranch. Always a pleasure and very relaxing. The views are spectacular and Mike and Diana are exceptional hosts. Their home is always clean and well equipped and is relatively isolated from neighboring properties, affording a quiet, peaceful stay. Trails are accessible to the south from the house, and other, popular trails are a short drive away. Rio's Ranch is our first choice. And it's pet friendly!
