Seensucht - Vacation in the farmhouse on Lake Dranser

Romantic, child-friendly holiday apartment in our farmhouse with a large, idyllic garden in Schweinrich, on Lake Dranser, which is closed to motorboats. 100 metres from the bathing area. Boathouse with private jetty; a canoe, kayaks and a sailing dinghy (sailing experience required) can be hired if required. There are popular equestrian farms in the neighboring towns of Dossow, Berlinchen and Zempow. Garden sauna available on request for the colder months. Please bring a bathrobe and sauna towels for this.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed three-sided farmstead are built with an oak timber frame. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees have been pruned back, the house can be seen in all its splendour. From May onwards, it then slowly disappears behind the shade-providing foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

Just recently - and lovingly - renovated, this little gem now accommodates up to 4 guests in the middle of the outstanding natural beauty of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. With direct access to the lake Plätlinsee it offers both relaxation as well as more active holiday pursuit options (swimming, paddling, hiking etc). The southfacing terrace provides an ideal backdrop for evening BBQs.

It is located mainly on the park side and is characterized by a light-flooded, large living-dining room with open half-timbered walls. In the side area there is a French double bed. This pretty small town does not yet know the word mass tourism, but still offers a lot of sporting and cultural variety. In the village there is a spa with a large swimming pool and sauna area, a boat and bicycle rental. The water is just a 10-minute walk away.
