Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. In the Mecklenburg Lake District, there are an incredible number of great lakes and you can go cycling & hiking. Blankensee/Meckl. even has a train station.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...
