and relax....just what I thought as I walked through the door just as it was turning dark. Dondie's house is fabulous. Great instructions to get there, easy to get in. Well equipped sitting room, great WiFi and TV with sky. comfy sofa and occasional chair which I set up to look out the window at the view. kitchen well appointed. 3 drawer freezer and under counter fridge. all clean. Good microwave and toaster. Bathroom spotless, lovely shower. bed very comfortable. Cottage very warm and didn't need log burner at all. very well insulated. We asked Donald for a couple of things and he responded immediately. The notice on the window cill has the WiFi code on one side and refuse instructions on the back. One thing we learned is the shop in Kilchoan will do deliveries and if you contact them in advance they will have it for your arrival. The Puffin cafe in Kilchoan was great as were tea and scones at the church on Wednesday mornings every 2 weeks. met a lot of the locals. A great holiday

Ewan’s place was amazing, had everything you could think of and more. A real home from home. He has really put a lot of effort into making it perfect. The location is a real getaway, peace and quiet, wonderful views and nature abound. Ewan couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, I would love to return.

The hut was really cosy and had absolutely everything you think you'd need for a few nights stay (kettle and hob, plenty of blankets but it was warm anyway, drinkable tap water), we had an excellent night's sleep. Paul and Caroline were responsive when we had a few questions, and the place was fairly easy to find and get into. Also worth noting that the whole area is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, visiting the hut just for the views alone is worth it.

This place us really worth a stay. A peaceful, scenic location not far from the beach, surrounded by nature and some farm animals. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for some peace and quiet. We'd love to go back.
