The house is lovely, is well equipped and was spotlessly clean. It felt like a home rather than just a house. It was easy to park outside. Bishop Auckland is a great place to visit. We wish we were there for longer

Lovely spot in a lovely location. A good find for a quiet getaway. An easy location for stopping while travelling. We look forward to coming back, maybe for our anniversary!

We had a wonderful stay at Howee Inn. It’s small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for one night. Pamela was really friendly and provided clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were left bread, milk, eggs and butter which was a lovely touch that we enjoyed for breakfast. The local area is lovely too, and we would recommend the local pub for dinner.

Booked very last minute and could not have been more delighted. Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Clean, comfortable and excellent quality. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We loved our brief stay and all want to visit again. Thank you!
