Jenny’s Folk Art Museum

Jenny's Folk Art Museum is a house from 1770, located in the historical district of Kinderhook Village, just a twenty minute drive north of Hudson. The house retains much character from a bygone era, with wide wooden floorboards, bumpy horsehair and plaster walls, and wavy glass window panes, and is crooked and "wabi sabi" as it can be. Jenny, an artist and avid collector herself, has filled the house with folk art, "outsider art", antique quilts, extraordinary art books, and her own creations.

Super romantic with a huge fire pit and your own little beachy kayak launch. Vischer Ferry bike trail borders the property for biking, hiking and kayaking. Vaulted beamed ceiling and full walls of glass make for crazy views overlooking the river. Serviced by filtered river water. SO SO PEACEFUL HERE!

Blacksmith House - Charming Historic Getaway

Built in 1790 as a blacksmith shop named “The Town Ax," Blacksmith House was rebuilt in the early 1990's and renovated by the present owners in 2017. The roughhewn beams of the original structure are exposed in every room.
