Aurora Borealis from your window, when the sky conditions are right. Great for getting away. Relax or be creative. Mindful hiking in the untouched nature and enjoy farm live. Middle of nowhere, and yet it is only 22 km drive from Reykjavik city center. Many points of interest are within easy reach: Golden Circle and Hvammsvik.

The cottage is located near Reykjavik, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

Huset ligger på en stor privat grund og består af stort og veludstyret køkken med spiseplads, stue med brændeovn, 2 soveværelser og et tredje soveværelse i et seperat gæstehus, tæt på hoved huset. Within 30 minutes driving you can access Þingvellir and the start of the golden circle in one direction, or Hvalfjörður (whale fjord) in the other: a scenic area with one of the best hikes in Iceland, Glymur waterfall.
