Veronique and Luc's lodge is a dream! We didn't leave them all the time to explore the area as originally planned, but enjoyed the fantastic location in the polders and the tranquility! The crowning glory was then the daily jacuzzi bath in the sunset. I'm sure we'll be back!

What a great stay for a weekend getaway! We loved using the hot tub, and everything was clean and ready for us. Niek was a lovely host and made sure we had all we needed.

This apartment is highly recommended if you want to go to the beach with a group (even if it's not summer!). The living room and kitchen are very spacious, and all kinds of kitchen appliances are available for cooking together, the view is beautiful and the sauna is lovely!

We had a lovely midweek in Corinne's cozy cottage. It has every comfort, very spacious and with beautiful views of the orchard and fields. Location is great, very quiet and yet within cycling distance of the beach.

Very nice, quietly located house (I have rarely heard the church bells); you can walk immediately into the fields, is well connected, and right next door is a good resto. By bike, you can reach the sea in 20 minutes - with a great beach! I was right at home and slept very well. Pas is super helpful and responds immediately if there is a problem. If necessary, there is even a mobile fence so that the dog can get out (if he is not too wild). The only thing I missed sun worshippers in April was a protected, sunny place outside - the windows go west, the terrace is on the north side. Optimal in summer. We will definitely be back!

Together with friends / 6 people /we had the pleasure to stay at your place. Without a doubt, the property deserves a special mention. Everything was clean, the rooms are spacious and bright. The Mawghan & Berten have really thought of everything: a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, cleaning supplies and even all kinds of games for long evenings. Mawghan & Berten responded very quickly to our messages and answered all our questions extensively. The property is at the border of the blue parking zone / 4 hours free with parking disc / and the green zone where you can park for free/ about 5 minutes walk /. Within a 5-minute walk there are shops such as Lidl, Aldi and more, so shopping is no problem at all. It's about a 30 minute walk to downtown / Grote Markt /. We definitely recommend this place and we will definitely come back.

Margaret and Freddy make you feel right at home. The location is a gem, secluded fields, horses and not far from Sluis and Breskens. Workshops and custom menus are also available. Western horseback riding is highly recommended! Thank you for your hospitality! Highly recommended!

we only stayed one night at Jans place we arrived around 8.30pm. its a very lovely cottage, everything there you could want, comfy beds, hot water and a wood burning stove if you wanted to light it, the stairs to the upstairs are very steep so be aware going up and down, both bedrooms have a tv and onsuite bathrooms, plus a downstairs toilet, plenty of room for the dogs and places to walk, bonus was we found a just eat delivery online.

What an amazing place!! Better than the pictures. So simple and cozy!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cozy house where everything you might need is present, and so much more! We were also received very hospitably, very nice to start our holiday ☺️ It's really recommended here! Everything is within walking distance and super convenient that you can leave the car in the driveway. We would love to come back here again!

Beautifull and cozy house!

Hello, we just spent a week of peaceful vacation in De Haan, it's what we were looking for, the apartment is faithful to the photos, in a very quiet residence, the apartment is close to shops, the forest and the sea, we did everything on foot.

Great, very relaxing apartment! The views are breathtaking, it's worth a day trip! The apartment is also very quiet. Enough to cut off and relax.

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

Spacious and bright space. Beautiful lake views near the sea and with covered and heated swimming pool appreciable after the excursions. Bruges is 20 min , Ghent 40 min and Brussels 1h20 . Close to the border of the Netherlands we were visited Sluis. Ideal location to discover the area and enjoy and break nature /sea. Vera and Arno are very responsive and their apartment is impeccable and well-equipped.

This holiday home is a gem for nature lovers! The long coastal walks through the dunes were magical, and the sunsets by the sea looked like they were straight off a postcard. The location is ideal for exploring the area—whether by tram, bike, car or on foot. About the house: a true summer house charm! Spacious enough for four, a fully equipped kitchen (we cooked most meals at home). Safe Garden! A huge plus for kids and dogs—peace of mind while relaxing outdoors. Transparent and experienced Host: Erica provides clear instructions, responds quickly. I was amazed by the House rules. All aspects are covered, just read and follow! Note: In colder seasons, budget for extra electricity costs can be high (ours was €40 for 4 days and we have not used heating much.) We’re already planning to return in summer!

An all-round successful holiday in a very nice house on a very nicely landscaped property and with a very nice hostess: This is the short form for a time that was special for both the adults and the teenagers and the small children and where we all felt comfortable. We were amazed and surprised that the remembrance culture of the First World War is very important due to the front in the entire area and, in our opinion, it has succeeded very well in many areas to make this time experienced equally intensely and with emotions for adults and young people. Since the sea is also not far away (about 25 min) and a city like Bruges is easily accessible with beautiful historical flair, there is a nice activity for the family every day in any weather. Alternatively, the house and property offer ample opportunity to leisure, play or seasonally use the pool.

We felt very comfortable in the small cozy apartment! Great equipped, with everything you need - also for the little ones with (somewhat outdated) toys and plenty of utensils for kids. Especially great was the beautiful view of the green space, the tranquility and the bikes with a child seat (unfortunately already quite attacked - had to mend once), with which we could explore the magnificent and versatile environment!! Thank you very much for everything 🤗 We will be happy to come back.

Great location at 30m from the beach and very centric. The place has a great indoor pool which is nice for the kids to relax. Johan is super responsive. The only point to improve is that bed sheets and soap/shampoo are not included so you need to pay extra out bring your own.
