The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the cottage. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski trail passes by, and in summer, a mountain bike trail (Kouvervaara trail). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, one semi-detached house in the same yard and one cottage consisting of three apartments.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

Good fishing opportunities, located in the Muojärvi-Kuusamojärvi water area, water connection to the center of Kuusamo and the eastern border.
