Kalamoti is one of the medieval "Mastica" villages in the southern part of Chios. It is small, quiet and friendly, and has everything you need (small supermarkets, cafes and tavernas), and is close to one of the best beaches in Chios. The house is restored according to the old plans, spacious and rustic. Balcony and roof terrace add space. Fully equiped kitchen (gass oven top) and microwave, toaster, large dining table. Kampos Mansion 1

Kampos village is only 5 km south of Chios Town. It is the closest village to the airport and one of the few places in Chios that preserves its medieval character. Kampos has recently been proclaimed by the Ministry of Culture as a historical site. The historical course of the village begins from the Byzantine times, where most of the mansions were built. Our mansion considered a unique masterpiece with exceptional architecture are two-stored with citrus gardens and the pool.

This 170 s.m., masonry wall, double-storey house was originaly constructed at 1859 and is a typical example of early neoclassical architecture, infused with local traditional elements such as the pebbled yard and the traditional terrace. According to a new ministerial decision, the residents of the house are obliged to pay a "Climate Crisis Resilience Fee" of 15 Euros per day. The total cost will be collected by the owner who will pay it to the tax office.
