Sora is located within the APPI Snow Mountain Resort area, just 2 minutes by car to the slopes and 5 minutes to the golf course. At the same time, you can access the bustling city of Morioka in just 60 minutes by car, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in the three prefectures of Iwate, Aomori, and Akita in the Northeast. We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. It is a cool highland area at an altitude of 900 m, so you can enjoy the natural air conditioning in the summer and a comfortable stay in the warm rooms in the winter. Also, by car, it is 10 minutes to Tohoku Expressway, Aomori Interchange, and 15 minutes to the ferry terminal, so it is also convenient for those who take the ferry to Hokkaido. About your space This is a house (villa) with a stunning view on the shore of Lake Towada. Enjoy the barrel sauna with a wood stove (wood is on the premises, so you can use it for free, but please prepare your own firewood), a drum bath, a large jacuzzi (hot water is not available, and it cannot be used in winter to prevent freezing), a barbecue, kayak, SUP (please prepare your own), and more. There is a marina next door to Lake Towada, so you can enjoy jet skiing, boating, etc. The house is located at an altitude of 400 meters, so we take the utmost measures, but insects come out during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves fall. We promise you a great view. Enjoy cooking in the kitchenette with a great view, complete with seasonings and cooking utensils.(Equipment for bbq available) The space There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. 1 double bed. The 2,000-tsubo property and log house are private spaces for guests only during your stay. The log house is located a little off the road, like a hideaway.
