Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kuching

Matnor’s house is well located for visiting Matang Wildlife Centre and Kubah National Park. It is best to have your own vehicle to get around as there are many places to explore along the coast and through the mountains. We went to Serikin, a town on the border with Kalimantan that has a big market on the weekends and on the way back found a waterfall in the jungle to have a refreshing swim. Exceptional! If you like seafood Telaga Air is only 10 minutes away and has great waterfront restaurants, especially D’White Restaurant. Matnor gave us breakfasts that were delicious and made up of local treats. Very yummy indeed! Even though Matnor’s place felt like it was remote and nestled in nature it is only around 40 minutes from the centre of Kuching. Matnor is an exceptional host who keeps a clean and comfortable home. He is considerate, helpful and interesting to talk to. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and learned a lot about Malay people and culture. Many thanks Matnor.

Cyril's place is amazing. We stayed for several days in July. Cyril is very helpful with local hints and advice. He goes above and beyond the role of host we went for dinner to a local smokehouse one evening so that I could try lots of local food. The location is a bit out of town but that's really not a problem it's 11-12RM in a grab to the centre and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a car. The pool is great to come back to on a hot afternoon and the shower was great. It is an unusual place, if you have an open heart and want to engage beyond a bland hotel room in a faceless block then Cyril's place is a gem.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was convenient, close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided great local recommendations, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kuching!
