It is an old private house that initially opened as an accommodation facility for almost 100% inbound. Kominka in Miyajima that warms the heart

"Guesthouse Shin" is located just off Miyajima's Machi-dori Street. 　Passing through the entrance curtain, you are greeted by a bamboo wall reminiscent of a Kyoto tengeya, and a stylish production that leads you to the courtyard with stepping stones.The courtyard also has a beautiful balance of white marble and moss, which contributes to the calm atmosphere.There are glass doors so that you can see the courtyard from the living room. 　The building is accessible only to guests through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone.From the outside, it looks like an ordinary private house, but once you step inside, the atmosphere changes, and that's what makes the inn so charming.I heard that the previous owner had always loved gardening and had a wide range of hobbies.However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't want to start an inn at first, so there are no bath facilities (there is a shower).However, you can use the nearby inn as an outdoor bath.The first floor is a living room, the second floor is a two-room Japanese-style room that serves as a bedroom, and up to 6 people can stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a word written in white stones in the middle of the moss.It was built by a gardener in the past with a playful spirit, and is the origin of the inn's name.They want to welcome guests with open hearts and make them feel at ease.

Aki no Kyoto Takehara/One day one group limited Edo period old folk house

Takehara City is located halfway between Wu and Onomichi, along the coast. The inn is a two-story, detached, and courtyard built in the Edo period in the center of the "Keihara Town Preservation District (National Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District)", a 13-minute walk from J R Takehara Station and a 20-minute drive from Hiroshima Airport. In the morning and evening, there is almost no traffic, and you can spend a quiet time like you have traveled back in time to the town of the Edo period. The large free space on the second floor is a large space with luxurious ceiling beams, and the windows overlook the streets of the town.From the room facing the courtyard on the second floor, you can see Fu Mingkaku, which is also a landmark of Takehara. In an art renovated space with an emphasis on organic materials, you can enjoy only one art in various places. Former traditional Japanese confectionery shop(Machiya house). Good access to the Tadanoumi port(about 10 minutes walk) and JR Tadanoumi station(2 minutes walk). You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.

The neighbourhood of the inn is full of old houses, and a walk around the area offers a unique sea and townscape view and a time-travel experience. In the narrow alleys you will find an okonomiyaki shop run by a lady, an old sake brewery, a café in an old house and a pottery gallery. In front of the inn is a narrow strait where you can watch the ships coming and going from your window.
