The cabin is located about 1.5 hours from Trolltunga, about 1 hour to Folgefonn ski center or a small ferry ride across Hardangerfjorden to Rosendal where you can visit the Barony or take a trip to the top of the mountain Melderskin. The place is about 1.5 hours from Bergen/Flesland airport.

Most buildingds are made of old timber from 1800 century. Yet the house have modern amenities like electrical heating, dishwasher, heated bathroom floor etc. The property has also three annexes which can be rented in addition. Rental includes a rowing boat and firewood for the big fire place in the living room.

The hike to Melderskin 1426 m starts in walking distance from the house. After the hike you can take a swim in Hardangerfjorden. 1 hour drive away are Odda and Trolltunga.
