One group per day. Studio with authentic Italian dinner & morning

영실Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Only that we were so excited about the dining at the restaurant that we ended up staying for two nights. The place was really clean and cozy, and I was very grateful to the owner for over 35 years. It was also close to Yufuin Station on foot, so it was easy to get to, and most importantly, the carefully served meal with relaxing music flowing in a good atmosphere was really the best. Fresh salads, deep flavors, aromatic coffee and hearty desserts were all great. After eating, I was very warm to talk to the owner, and I was touched by the meaning of the name ’Minaminokaze'. I would definitely visit again in other seasons. Once again, thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

Great location. Just a 5 minute walk from Yufuin Station. Property is as described. Beautiful view from the second floor. We had our dinner at the Italian restaurant owned by the host and it was delicious and so with the complimentary breakfast. We will definitely book again this property when we return to Yufuin soon. Very kind host! Thank you so much.

“Cottagecore aesthetic”JOIN OUR LIFE in rural

What can I say other than staying with Ken, Saki and their gorgeous kids was the highlight of my trip here in Japan. I was made to feel right at home, welcomed to join them at the local Forest Festival (also a highlight) and celebrated my birthday with new found friends xx

Farmer's B&B of isolated house, for one group only

AntonyRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We had a wonderful time at Katsushi and Tatako's farmstay and cannot speak too highly of our experience. The house is separate from the owners' home, so is very private, and surrounded by fields and scattered houses. Everything was spotless and we lacked for nothing, given that we were not self-catering. But it was our hosts' friendliness, their recommendations for local attractions, and above all, the food we were served, that were extra special. Breakfast is included, and featured plenty of home-grown veges, and other local produce. Since we didn't want to venture out at night, we also requested dinner on both nights of our stay (for a modest additional cost), and those meals were also truly wonderful. Japanese home cooking at its best. We were also invited to attend a Kagura dance at a local shrine, and were taken one evening to a local community hall to learn about preparations for another festival. All in all a wonderful and memorable experience.

B&B at cent'l city of Nagasaki semi-double room.

I would recommend staying at this place. Overall it was good value, the bed was comfortable and amenities were fine. The owner was slow to respond to my messages and there was some confusion before check-in where he made me panic by suggesting I would not be able to stay there that evening. I would not recommend arriving 'late' (8pm) as they didn't like that. The main positive of the stay was the friendliness of the owners and staff once I was there. The breakfast each morning was delicious and very filling. The location of the hotel was also very good for exploring the city. Overall I would recommend this place but the communication could be improved.

Soba noodle Homestay, feel Japanese rural life

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had the most enjoyable time here!! Everything was so homely, welcoming and comfortable. Karin and Hideko were very friendly and helpful, and my kids especially loved the cats on the property. The soba making experience with the soba master was a highlight, and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay again!!

A private home in central Nagasaki with a handmade breakfast, Western-style room (double bed)

Rating, 5 stars6 months ago
They were very kind and flexible. The homemade breakfast was also very delicious, and the bread baked by the owner himself was delicious. It's always just a hotel, but it's also a very meaningful and new experience to stay in a place like this. I would like to visit you again.
