The environment is clean, the kitchen has everything, I use the kitchen every day to prepare breakfast and dinner, dinner time is always spent with the host, sharing fun facts about the tour, sharing what we met today, sharing food. The kitchen is my favorite part of this trip😍 The bed is also very warm and comfortable. Looking forward to visiting again during the warmer season.

Beautiful and peaceful countryside village vibes, neat and clean place and very friendly hosts. A little tricky to find when we first arrived at night as you have to go past the neighbouring houses, but otherwise smooth check-in. Plenty of space in the guest room, would absolutely stay again, highly recommended!

The accomodation was great! the house was very spacious and the kitchen supplies were nice and easy to use. I would recommend staying here when visiting Aso, which is only a 30 minute drive. The host is very friendly and nice!

we had a wonderful stay with Taiji. he is an absolute good host. we had meals dinner and breakfast. every dish is awesome. artistically presented and tasted delicious. the private onsen was good. the surroundings mountains and sound of stream water running calms our souls and minds. we didn't mind driving long distance to his house. it was such a welcome to eat Taiji meals prepared with much love and be surrounded by such beautiful nature. highly recommend Taiji to all who want a relaxing stay with awesome food to pamper onself

Victoria, the lodge owner and a Buddhist priest herself, gave us a tour of the temple and the chance to ring the bell. I was also delighted to meet Pickles, the temple cat, who seemed to enjoy the atmosphere as much as the guests!

It's not in the center, so you have to use public transportation, and there are stairs on the way, but considering the house, it's worth considering it. The atmosphere of the old house was really nice, and it was comfortable and healing, and it was so nice during my stay ~ Highly recommended for those who like quiet ~ The host solved all the difficulties, was thoughtful, and was so kind and nice. It was the best accommodation I've ever stayed in on my trip ~ I'd like to go♡ again ~

we had a wonderful stay with Taiji. he is an absolute good host. we had meals dinner and breakfast. every dish is awesome. artistically presented and tasted delicious. the private onsen was good. the surroundings mountains and sound of stream water running calms our souls and minds. we didn't mind driving long distance to his house. it was such a welcome to eat Taiji meals prepared with much love and be surrounded by such beautiful nature. highly recommend Taiji to all who want a relaxing stay with awesome food to pamper onself
