Monthly Rentals in Lago de Matrullas

A beautiful place with incredible views, you can see the ocean or the beautiful mountains. I observed the nature of the birds, a beautiful guaraguao being chased by pitirres. The host is excellent, providing suggestions on where to visit and the best routes according to conditions. The staff at the house is very friendly, I even had the pleasure of meeting the mayor of Jayuya, who visited the house. Unfortunately, I had to leave the stay due to circumstances beyond the place, there was a widespread power outage across the island. Despite leaving, I hope to return on another occasion.

I will be going back to this spot. I loved the atmosphere right by the Bosque Estatal, and the river runs behind the property.

Even without power (all Puerto Rico) your service and the facility of electric generator make our stay very pleasant. My second time at La casa de Abuelo, there is lots of updates since my first stay which is a plus, the cleanliness was to a very high standard. The beds were exceptionally comfy, we all slept very well. The place has everything you need, there’s also an assigned parking spot for the place. Adalberto was super responsive and attentive to our needs. Everything is close by, walking distance to the town plaza and a few great restaurants and Bakeries. Have to check out the cultural center that has some historical Taino Artifacts. A 10 min drive to the Cemi Museum and the Piedra Escrita. Definitely will be back soon.
