Holiday rentals with lake access in Lagos

We stayed at Sarah’ Villa for a family break and immediately felt that we'd found a home away from home. Nothing was missing and you find a lot of attention to details, even offering a surfboard. We especially enjoyed the large pool, evenings on the terrace and the breathtaking nature surrounding the villa. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Miguel was an excellent host and has given all the necessary context regarding home facilities and surroundings, with great tips about beaches and restaurants to visit. He was also always available, anytime we need ed something or to answer our questions. The house has great conditions, is fresh and has a really nice pool area to relax and make barbecues - a great balance with all the other cool things to visit on Arrifana / Aljezur area. 5 stars!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The garden and pool area are perfect for relaxing, and the location is ideal for surfers with several great beaches nearby. It’s also perfect for those traveling with a dog, as the fenced and walled property offers peace of mind. Highly recommend for a chill and active getaway!

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Haus von Simon in Aljezur! Wir waren zu sechst und sehr zufrieden. Das Haus entspricht genau den Bildern – eine schöne, ruhige Lage mit viel Platz und allem, was man braucht. Besonders positiv ist die hundefreundliche Ausstattung: Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt. Nach einem Stromausfall funktionierte die Heizung kurzzeitig nicht, aber Francisca war unglaublich hilfsbereit und hat das Problem schnell gelöst – vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind gut, sowohl auf dem Grundstück als auch direkt davor, aber die Toreinfahrt ist etwas schmal, worauf man achten sollte. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Marco’s place was amazing. We had an awesome time and felt right at home. We were 6 adults and all slept in our beds. The place was exactly as described and Marco even left out a whole useful section that he didn’t describe. The place was spotless, the bathrooms were very clean, the bedrooms were exactly as described. We lived in the place for 6 days and wanted to stay more. The rooftop was so nice and the BBQ was an added bonus to cook dinner, enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set and the fishermen clean their nets. The view from the balcony and the rooftop terrace was timeless. Everything about Marco’s place is a 5 star. Marco was so kind, friendly and helpful. He was merely a 5 min ride whenever we needed his assistance. I strongly recommend Marco’s place to enjoy Ferrugado and the whole Algarve coast. Easy to access, with shopping, restaurants, supermarkets and beaches a short distance away. Thank you Marco for hosting us at your home. We will surely be back.

Debbie's place was a beautiful and quiet 2 bedroom /2 bathroom condo with plenty of space for 4 adults. Everything was very clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. We had a great view of the golf course, the lake and the fountain. In the morning we were greeted by birdsong. Debbie was always quick to respond to any questions we may have had and very accommodating with some of our requests. Check-in was also a breeze as were the directives given by Debbie. Parking was readily available across from our unit. The swimming pool was very large and heated. Everything was very well maintained. I highly recommend Debbie's place for couples and families.

Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at Paula's apartment. The property overlooks Lagos Marina which means an incredible view every time you look out of the window. The surroundings were very peaceful and the apartment had plenty of room for everyone. All the bedrooms were of a good size and the decor was lovely! We had access to a swimming pool which is located the the hotel next door, under a minute's walk from the apartment. The pool included a paddling pool for small children and a huge pool for the bigger kids/adults. Lagos Marina has a wide variety of bars and restaurants, all of which are a few minutes walk from the apartment. We spent most events in Lagos Old Town which was about a 10-minute walk from the apartment, across the marina bridge. Lagos has plenty to see and do. There are beautiful beaches close by and we were very impressed by the high quality of food offered by all of the restaurants we ate in. We had a great trip and wished we could have stayed for longer!!

Het verblijf hier was geweldig! Echt een hele leuke plek die ze hier hebben gecreëerd. We hebben erg genoten van 3 weken lang hier verblijven en remote werken. Een oase van rust waar je lekker kan ontspannen. Als je in de Algarve verblijft is dit echt een mega aanrader! En Martina en Peter zijn echt hele lieve mensen. Je hebt wel echt een auto nodig en de dichtstbijzijnde behoorlijke supermarkt is een kwartiertje rijden. In de directe omgeving zelf is ook niet heel veel te doen, daarvoor moet je wel echt naar steden of natuurgebieden. Maar bij Martina en Peter op het erf hebben ze wel genoeg gezorgd voor vermaak en plekken om te ontspannen.

Appartement très agréable et confortable. Parfait pour un couple . De nombreux rangements dans la chambre. Bien situé non loin de la vieille ville. Hypermarché à proximité. Je recommande.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Von der ersten Sekunde an haben wir uns unglaublich herzlich willkommen und sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin Eva ist sehr hilfsbereit, immer schnell erreichbar und man spürt überall ihre Liebe zum Detail. Ihre Empfehlungen für Restaurants, Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren absolut top und haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal – ruhig und trotzdem alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Alles war perfekt organisiert, sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Communication with the host was very good—always responsive and available when needed. The location was perfect for what we were looking for: calm, serene, and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect winter escape for a workation. The apartment was as described, and we were especially pleased with how warm and cozy it stayed during the winter months, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The views and sunrise from the property were magnificent—such a peaceful setting to relax and unwind. The only downside, is that some of the condo's facilities are showing signs of age and could use a bit of an uplift. During winter, it felt like everything was reduced to a minimum in terms of upkeep, which made certain aspects not optimal, but this is out of the owner's hand. That said, the overall experience was great, and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway!

Quel endroit paradisiaque ! La maison est à la fois belle et confortable et l’environnement ressemble à un jardin botanique. Aux alentours des chemins dans les collines permettent de belles balades. Et on est bien placé pour découvrir les coins intéressants de l’Algarve. Surtout Martina et Christoph sont charmants, attentionnés et aux petits soins. Les 2 chiens et les 2 chats sont également très amicaux ! Une bien belle découverte
