Adorable ZEN Cottage in LAGRASSE near CARCASSONNE

Located in Lagrasse, one of the most beautiful villages in France, this pretty wooden chalet with its 2 terraces . You will enjoy a magnificent view of the village and beautiful Mediterranean vegetation (cypresses, olive trees, pines, rosemary, lavender, etc.) A jacuzzi in a Zen spirit at the foot of the chalet will allow you to recharge your batteries . The Zen chalet is air-conditioned and has parking at the foot of the house. The jacuzzi is in operation from the end of May to mid-September

The house is situated in the beautiful medieval village of Lagrasse with its cobbled streets, quiet squares, 8th century abbey and very own river beach for swimming all a short walk away. The house, is centrally placed in a quiet road with no through traffic. There is excellent wifi throughout the house. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Two double bedrooms, one of which has 2 additional sofa beds and a desk for home working. A modern bathroom with large shower.

The City of Carcassonne is less than half an hour away, the beaches of Gruissan and Narbonne 45 minutes away, Spain 1 hour away, many Cathar castles nearby...

Rue de la Poste: friendly village tranquility

3 rue de la poste, Vignevielle is our holiday home in France. It is a beautiful old building that we have made into a small, simple home for the holidays. The village itself is quite remote, being 30 minutes by car from the nearest grocery shops. Our guests enjoy the tranquility of village life and the beautiful scenery. Spacious top floor studio with private bathroom & kitchen, comprises double bed with convertible sofa in 55 m2 area, wood burning stove for heating. Wooden floors & beams & very luminous. This studio can be let on its own for 2 - 4 people or in conjuction with the ground floor studio and/or 3 B&B rooms on 1st floor to house a maximum of 14 people ideal for large groups ie weddings but advanced bookings necessary as each unit is advertised separately.

You can discover a swimming area and a supervised body of water that is very popular in high season, in the village a 10-minute walk away.

Ideal for a few days, this contemporary styled ground floor studio apartment is 25m², has a fully equipped kitchen area and en suite shower room. No early check-in or late check out possible, and please note that it is not suitable for babies and children.

La Gargouille des Corbières A wine tank you can live in

The gargoyle is an unusual gîte, renovated in an old small wine cellar in the middle of the Corbières at the end of an old village of 30 inhabitants; surrounded by nature on 5000 m² of south-facing land overlooking the scrubland where many hiking trails start. The building consists of an old wine cellar and an old sheepfold inhabited by the owners. Both parties are completely independent.

In the heart of Corbières, come and recharge in the shade of the village church, with the wilderness, rich in southern smells, as an invitation to stroll. The accommodation is an old restored ruin, in a village where the road stops to give way to the paths of the scrubland.
