Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake County

We had such a wonderful time staying in this charming and character-filled home. It’s spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the fact that the property has a washer and dryer! We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Thank you for everything!

We've been to Leadville many times, and really enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well-equipped house. It's walkable to everything in downtown Leadville and is equipped with everything you need to cook good meals and relax after a day outdoors. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

Leslie’s place was a great stay. It was a quaint and older home, but it was perfect to use as home base for a week of skiing at a reasonable cost. Right down the street from a beautiful walking trail with great views of the mountains, too!

We had a blast at Deanna's beautiful home! Amazing find! Deanna was so helpful, genuine, and went above and beyond to make sure we has the best time possible. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds are insanely comfortable!

Evening Star is a beautiful home. Purpose of our trip was Spring break skiiing at Ski Cooper. The location was perfect...2 min drive to Ski Cooper. The house is off grid, which kinda concerned me a bit. I talked to host Kurt before finalizing our plans and he reassured us that we would not even notice. And he was right...never noticed a difference. Earthlink satellite wi-fi was no issue...no issue with phone calls, connectivity, and the television was equipped with roku and streaming apps worked. The house stayed warm, no issues with electricity. We cooked in the kitchen and used the propane grill to make burgers. We were a party of 9 (ranging in age from 18 to 57) and there was plenty of room for everybody. The younger ones enjoyed trekking around in the snow, the older ones enjoyed the views from the cozy warmth of the indoors. We got tons of snow and it was beautiful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking at visiting Ski Cooper and/or Leadville. Thank you!

We will definitely stay again. This house felt so much like home and was so comfortable. The backyard was amazing. The amenities left at the house were very appreciated. It was a huge backyard for the doggos and us to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.

Alla's place is one of my all time favorite places! The view of the mountains, stargazing and being right along the Arkansas River and close to Copper was fantastic!! The securely fenced in yard was perfect the dogs had room to roam, I could also tell they were really enjoying it, they would sit on top of the snow and watch the mountains too. The home is very open and spacious which I thoroughly enjoyed. They have a humongous and very nice TV above the fireplace for watching movies at night after a fun day on the slopes. The fireplace was an enjoyable, warm addition to that added to the ambience of the living area. The kitchen was great. The kitchen table provided a great place to work. The bed and linens were very comfortable, I slept so well here. Also, I want to be sure to mention that Alla was very helpful and responsive all along. I had extenuating circumstances occur causing me to need to change my week, Alla helped me do so, so that I could still come. I will be back.

Had a wonderful stay here. A beautiful half mile walk to Main Street and right by the creek. Hosts were very responsive and communicative. Place was great inside, games and everything we needed. Very well stocked. Would highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay in Crested Butte South, everyone loved it even our dogs.

This was the second time the my teenage daughter, dad, and I stayed at Kris and Karen’s place for a multi-day ski trip. It works perfectly for our needs.

We had a great stay! It is very close to the gondola. Hosts were very responsive and answered our questions. Location was great on the first floor, able to walk right out to the hot tubs which were wonderful after a day of skiing.

We were very satisfied with Katy's place, which is exactly like in the description and much more! The space is a little tight but it has everything we need as a family of three for a three-day ski trip. Katy is very thoughtful in that she provides all the amenities one can ever think of, which makes it very convenient for us. I love the plushy towels! I also appreciate Katy' tips on the ski resort and the Colorado Epic school kids program. Thank you again, Katy!

Great location. We never used our car once we got there. The free shuttle was fabulous they dropped us off right at the gondola at Ajax and picked us up, we walked the 3 blocks each night to dinner in town which was fabulous. Bathtub was nice and big with plenty of hot water and my husband enjoyed the hot tub numerous times. Bed was comfy. Thanks Daniel!

We had a great stay at Kara's place. It is in an excellent location—1 minute to the ski/town bus. Also, it is perfectly walkable to town in the evening without ski equipment. Two good-sized rooms and a lovely living area. The well-stocked kitchen made us feel right at home. The host was friendly and helpful. Fabulous views and overall I highly recommend it!

Clean and has everything you need for essential necessities. Very convenient location, about 5-10 minutes from downtown and the slopes! Can’t beat it.

Great place to stay! The views of the mountains and the lake from the house were amazing. The host was communicative and we enjoyed our time there.

My family stayed at the cabin for Christmas and loved our time there. Getting there was easy because of the clear directions provided. We maxed out the capacity between adults, a 1 year old and 2 dogs but the lofted master and open 3rd floor loft weren’t an issue since we were all awake at the same time. The main floor was perfect - we cooked all our meals there, ate together at the dining table and all hung out comfortably in the living room, they even had a tree & garland up for the holidays which was nice. A few things to note if planning to cook, the dishwasher is in rough shape and doesn’t clean all the way so we had to hand wash dishes when we arrived as well as throughout the stay. The freezer doesn’t quite stay cold so we had ice cream & ice cubes that melted. Overall it was a beautiful area and communication with Barb & David was great, they were so responsive before, during & after. We’re so happy we chose to stay here & made such fun memories as a family.

Would absolutely stay here again. The view from the front window is stunning. Karen is very responsive. We had a wonderful time!

We rented all 4 cabins with our family and had the most wonderful time ever! The views were absolutely beautiful!!! There was plenty of space for the 12 of us to gather outdoors and enjoy the mountain views. The cabins had everything we needed for the week. The host was helpful and very quick to respond. We spent time relaxing at Twin Lakes Beach. It is just a short 5 min drive from the cabins. We rented kayaks and paddle boards from Twin Lakes SUP and cycle. The town is adorable with a convenience store, coffee shop, and restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our family had a great time and can’t wait to come back next year!

Great location, right across from Twin Lakes. Easy access to hiking, kayaking and just relaxing. So quiet and relaxing. Also love they were extremely dog friendly and had doggie sheets and towel to help keep everything clean! Will definitely be back!

We stayed at Buckeye's Cabin for a long weekend in early March. We were warm (thanks to the heater and wood-burning stove) and in close proximity to Leadville. The cabin is a time capsule to the historic west and is as-advertised! All three guests were comfortable. Though we didn't use the kitchen, it has authentic antique charm which is worth considering if you plan to cook. There are heavy-duty window coverings on all windows, but Buckeye's Cabin is situated on Highway 91 so expect mild traffic noise. Overall, we had a 5-star stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a "glamping" experience, any time of year, near Leadville!

We loved staying in the cabin! It had a cozy decor and rustic elements. There was also a great view of the mountains, and the property was quite big and full of bird activity. We were surprised to find a microwave, and the kitchen was well stocked. Jessica and Walter provided everything you needed to start a fire in the stove, which was great for us as beginners. The neighboring towns, Leadville and Buena Vista are both very charming and easy to get to. Our trip was mainly for hiking in the area, and Twin lakes itself has lots of wonderful hikes within a few minutes of driving from the cabin. Would highly recommend!

Loved this little cabin! Was perfect for a mountain getaway. Had a great little kitchenette and bed was comfortable the surroundings were breathtaking and made for the most peaceful fall weekend. Would book again.
